In a community this size, I am extremely impressed with the courtesies and professionalism of all the staff at Matt’s. I left feeling confident that my vehicle was well taken care of and safe to transport my family! The manager explained everything to me and did not make me feel inadequate just because I was a woman! Definitely my new favorite auto repair company! Won’t take my vehicle any where else.
I’ve been a customer for a couple of years now. I’ve not once been disappointed in the service. From the nice young lady who I talked to on the phone, to be greeted at the front desk by Kris, speaking with John in the service center, and a friendly hello from Matt the owner, this is truly an amazing business with me, the customer, in mind. The work is top notch and backed by a warranty for many of the things I’ve had done. I decided to wait there for about 30 minutes when I first stopped in for a diagnostic and was provided with a comfortable area to wait. The free coffee bar was a real surprise and I had total control of the remote! I am a single mother who had a bad wiper as well. Matt said he couldn’t let me drive around for two days, waiting for a special part to come in, in an unsafe vehicle with the snow coming so he let me use a loaner car free of charge. I felt that not only did Matt’s automotive care about fixing my vehicle, they cared about our safety as well. Kudos to the team on always a job well done. I’d recommend this team to everyone! To make a long review longer, I also have to add in I appreciate all the sponsorships Matt’s automotive does for our community. All they are missing is hot cocoa on the coffee bar!
Matt's Automotive is, by far, the best service center in the F/M area. If you're looking for an honest and trustworthy place to bring your vehicle whether it be for as "little" as an oil change and tire rotation to needing a whole new engine and, literally, everything in between, Matt and his Team will make sure your experience is smooth and painless. I have been a loyal customer for as long as he's been open. They make you feel very comfortable from the moment you drop off your vehicle. I have no reason or desire to bring my vehicles anywhere but Matt's Automotive Service Center!!
We used to have a trusted mechanic like this when we lived in Minneapolis and we've never been able to find their equal, until now. We will definitely be coming back to Matt's next time any of our cars needs servicing.
My car had a major exhaust problem that the dealer said would be too expensive to fix in their shop and told us it would be more cost effective to go to an exhaust shop. Even though Matt's isn't specifically an exhaust shop, they came highly recommended by several of my friends, so I gave them a call. They were able to get me in the very next morning, and gave me a ride to work as well so I wouldn't have to wait around the shop all day. They called me with the estimate before doing any work. Part of the exhaust system was completely missing, so I was expecting a huge number, but it was actually a little better than I expected. We talked about a few options for the repair and how much they would cost (most comprehensive, middle, and minimum required repairs). They were able to fix it the same day, and gave me a ride from work back to the shop too. They also did a full inspection on my car, gave me a list of a few very minor issues to keep an eye on and estimates for what it might cost fix those things in the future if they become bigger problems, just so we'd have an idea what to expect. They also stated specifically that none of those things were big enough problems that they need fixing now. They were very honest and upfront, and I never for a moment felt like they were trying to talk me into doing repairs that my car didn't need.
Great customer service. I dropped my vehicle off without an appointment as the check engine light came on the day before. They gave me a ride to work after having dropped off the vehicle and they were willing to pick me up from work. They quickly diagnosed the problems with the vehicle and had the repairs done by early afternoon. I am so impressed with their service. I would highly recommend Matt's. We are taking all our vehicles there for service now when needed.
